One of the students of the Marine Science Master's Study Program, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Unhas, Rara Adesson Sari took part in the Early Carrer Ocean Professional (ECOP) activity in Korea. This activity is an implementation of cooperation between the Korean and Indonesian Governments in the form of an Official Development Assistance (ODA) Project entitled 'Establishing Integrated Ocean Fisheries Technology Training Center and Enhancing Capacity Building in Indonesia (ODA KIOTEC)'. The aim of this activity is to increase human resource capacity in the maritime sector, it is one of the Korea Ocean ODA projects (funded by the Korean government) initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries with the Marine Technology Cooperation Research Center (MTCRC).

The Early Carrer Ocean Professional (ECOP) activity in Korea will take place on 11-16 June 2024. Apart from students from the Unhas Marine Science Master's Study Program, this activity was also attended by students from Diponegoro University (Master of Marine Science), Gajah Mada University (Master of Science Fisheries), Pattimura University (Master of Marine Sciences) and Bandung Institute of Technology (Master of Earth Sciences), as well as the MTCRC team.
